Pinewood Grand Prix
The Frankfort Girl Scouts Pinewood Grand Prix is our version of a pinewood derby! What is a pinewood derby? It is a wood car racing event! Grab an adult and build your very own unpowered, unmanned miniature car from wood. The kit comes with a block of pine wood, plastic wheels and metal axles. Your job is to take tools and construct a car. Some girls design their car for speed and some come to show off their unique designs!

Race Day: January 22nd 1pm - 3pm
Check-on: Friday January 21st 5pm - 7pm

Cars should be as close to 5 ounces as they can, but cannot exceed 5 ounces

Registration
Each girl who would like to participate must register by January 15th
$15 per registration - includes car kit, patch, and medal
Please indicate Girl scouts name, troop number, and level in girl scouts at registration. You can register up to 3 girls
